Hi Carol Thought that you
would like to see Sam's first win for the year. He is doing great. He loves to go to the show and work. He is a great
dog. Thank you Angie Hi Carol Sensi made it safely home! She is everything and more,
absolutely perfect. She is so mild mannered and affectionate. I will talk to you soon. Amy Hi Carol
Hope things are going well. I had some questions for you about registering are (Blue Girl) or Sophie as she is now called.
She is doing well and getting along great with Brutus. She just came into heat for the first time today. We got
thinking about paper work and AKC registration (should have done this long ago) we can't find any puppy certificate or
anything regarding registering her. What are we supposed to do? Have I lost some papers? Let me know what
you can and we will try to get this taken care of. Carol I have never seen a dog accilimate as quickly as he has.
He loves our Bassett O'Grady and today he was on the beach on the Chesapeake Bay and just walked into the bay twice and
swam Thanks Tim The 22 of december 2004, I bought a brindle apricot mastiff to Carol Sutton i want her big so

Update on the puppy. Doing well. Extremely pleased with her. Rita
Hi
Carol, I just wanted to let you know how much we love our puppy. His name is Winston. He has such a lovable
personality he greets everyone that comes to our home and is adored by everyone. He loves to sleep & cuddle on the
couch, even though he has a cushy bed (yes we spoil him). Thank you for doing such a great breeding job!
Even our Vet commented that he already seemed well trained and that was due in part because he came from a good breeder.Take
care, and all the best to you and your family during the holidays! Mauro & Elena Fidaleo Hi
Carol, Lil Girl's doing fine! We named her Casey - and she's already well on her way to being crate trained.
No accidents since yesterday (wow!) and we're all loving her lots. Thanks for a great puppy! Carla Thank you
for the opportunity to have Tawny, renamed Zena in our lives. We couln't have asked for a more pleasant puppy
in our lives. Dennis P. Iadarola, OD Hi Carol, Just wanted to say thank you again and let you
know that "Zoie" is wonderful and is doing great. We love her very much and she's adapting very well to
us and her new surroundings. I know you were going to mail some info on her lineage but can you tell us how big her parents
are, everyone's asking us Also please send me the information on the next litter of puppies we may have someone
interested in getting thier own. Thanks Again Chris and Carla
Carol, Saphira is the most passive dog.
She was wonderful on the plane. People wanted to pet her and many could not believe how passive she is. We love her!
This brindle mastiff has the true temperment of the breed. To top it off she is beautiful also. I am looking forward to watching
her grow into a beautiful young dog. We are still thinking about another great dog from this litter. We have to talk it over
some more. My husband tells me 5 mastiffs is plenty! However Saphira is such a great one he is thinking harder
that one more may not be so bad. I will keep you posted on this. I took the puppies to the vets
today. Saphira is 37 LBS and in excellent health. She is such a beauty! Linda
Dear Carol: I can't
begin to tell you how wonderful our puppy is!! Healthy, clean, playful, beautifully socialized, fearless, affectionate....he
is clearly all Westie and all boy! He is currently napping or I wouldn't be able
to take my eyes off him long enough to write this! We all adore Sir Gizmo Whiz-Bang! We spent our first night
together (with our Moxie) in a hotel and got home last night. My niece is a vet
who's hospital was on our way home, so I had told her we would stop in to "show him off"! Carol,
I thought you'd like to know that Marian (Dr. Boden) was SO IMPRESSED
with him....and also with you, as a breeder. She examined him very carefully and went over the health records
you provided. She said several times that it was clear that you are a very conscientious breeder
and had done everything just right to give him the best possible start in life!
Of course, I wasn't surprised. I knew from our phone conversations and emails that you care very much about your dogs.
Thank you again for a wonderful new addition to our family. Andrea Kehmeier UPDATE
Our Baby Gizmo is a PISTOL!!! He has learned to use the doggie door in the kitchen and he's also learned to
play tug-o-war with Moxie with her pull toy. He is an absolute JOY! UPDATE
Hi Carol: I just wanted to tell you how, at 4 1/2 months, our little Gizmo is doing: HE IS A HOOT! Our 4
year old Moxie still has to discipline him sometimes, but for the most part he settled in to our household right away and
we adore him! He's tough on bare toes, but so adorable....and very smart and determined! I thought you'd be
interested to know that he has taken his first "Introduction to Quarry I" class on the way to becoming an Earthdog.
Moxie has been training at Village Green Earthdog Farm and she is ready to compete for her Junior Earthdog
title. Little Gizmo has been watching her and last Wednesday was introduced to a rat in a cage for the first time.
Although he's too little for real hunting instincts to kick in, he barked and growled and showed interest. When
it came time to try an above-ground tunnel for the first time, he didn't hesitate a moment, but went right through.
Jo Ann Fries-Murza, an internationally known expert on Earthdogs, laughed before he went through,
and said, "He's such an adventurous pup....he'll probably go right through!" and that's just what he
did! Jo Ann cautioned me not to push him at this age, (and I have no intention of pushing him in any way!) but he will
accompany Moxie to Earthdog events until he's old enough to take part....assuming his interest in "getting
the rats" grows. Just thought you'd like to know how much joy he continues to bring us!

UPDATE 3/3/08 Hello Carol: I haven't written in quite some
time, but I wanted you to know what a WONDERFUL DOG our little Gizmo ('Mo) has become! He was from Buddy and Snowflake's
litter of Dec. 30, 2006, and now that he's a grown-up dog, I just wanted you to know that he is beautiful, sweet and affectionate,
full of fun...everything a boy Westie ought to be at 15 months! Mo has done some early earth-dog
training, and is showing quite a bit of promise. We don't push him, because he is so young, but our trainers have
said he's "quite a good problem-solver" and actually we see that tendency at home, quite a bit. He's
very inventive about retrieving his toys from places you wouldn't expect him to be able to get to! He's
also a tough taskmaster with the squirrel population in our neighborhood! n Those pesky rodents stay in the trees
when 'Mo is on patrol. We have just bred him (We think?) to our bitch, Moxie. We are hoping to have puppies
in mid-late April. Thank you, again, for providing such a wonderful little dog and a loving addition to our household. UPDATE

Carol & Mike, Hi, just wanted to let you know....Niobi is doing wonderful! She is a great dog! She has no problems at all with going to the bathroom out side
(As long as you keep after her). She stays in her yard, she is liking the horses more and more every day. When
I go out to feed the horses, it is almost like she can't wait to go out with me. My other dog and her are great
friends and they play ALL DAY LONG! Niobi also likes to play fetch and soccer with my son. She is very spoiled. She pretty much does whatever she wants all the time. We are very happy with her
personality. She is everything we wanted. She is also getting over her shyness. She now comes up to people
but she still isn't sure of them when she does it. I think she only does it because Sophia gets all the attention
and Niobi wants some of it too....but she is starting to go up to people and that is a start!
Well, thanks again for getting back to me. Michelle Johnson
Carol, Palmer and Penny are doing really well.
They are already playing and napping together. Palmer has a very big appetite and has manged to become spoiled just
in a few days. He hasn't had any accidents in the house or in his crate. Amy (Penny is a previous puppy
of mine.)
carol, just wanted to let you know that pebbles is doing great,
we love her, slept most of the way home except when we stopped to grab a bite to eat and let her out to go pee, my wife went
in to get food and when she came out i was surrounded by people with tons of questions, thank you for a beautifull new member
to our family.

Carol, I just wanted to drop you a line on Simon. He did GREAT his first night. He had no accidents in
the house. We took him out every hour or so and he did his business. I don’t care if it was lucky or not, I’ll
take it. The boys just love him. Simon constantly is giving the boys kisses. Our oldest is acting like it’s his baby.
Zoe (our German Shepherd puppy) still is curious about this little guy strolling around. Simon is holding his own with her
though. The cats don’t really know what to think, but they don’t seem to mind him being there. Thank you so much
for him. I still feel bad about orange boy. If we could have afforded to take both, we would have. Thank you again Cindy
UPDATE
Carol, I just wanted to give you an update on Simon. He’s doing great. He has done
his fair share of chewing, that’s for sure. He’s almost 7 months old and he’s about 100lbs. He’s the
best. Everyone who meets him loves him. His personality is what everyone falls in love with – not to mention his adorable
face. Our two dogs (the other one is a 10 month old german shepherd) go through about 25lbs of food a week. And drink plenty
of water….
Carol, We made it home fine and dandy.
You would not believe how she howeled rite after we parted.
I thought she would never stop. Then she did ---------------and since then she has been fine. She missed you and all her buddys.
We are settling in and all is well. Thank you for such a wonderful dog. She has a heart of Gold and we are Blessed
to have her in our lives. We will be in touch. David UPDATE Carol, Just a quick note to let you know how Alfia is doing well.WE
are adjusting to this new life w/ this wonderful animal. She is teaching us patience, tolerance and order.I did get a wonderful
email from Jennifer H about the lovely male she got from you.It looks to be a good match.Alfia has stopped eating poop-(thank
heavens) and has taken on better things such as wires, anything Styrofoam and her favorite----flip flops…We have only
ourselves to blame for her antics…We are learning to feed and take her out on a regular schedule-never leave anything
she could get into and keep a constant eye on potential new ground-such as when we found her on top of the kitchen table sorting
through the daily mail---thank God there were no checks in there---looked like new years day in times square---Thank you for
making this great dog available to us. We are growing to love her very much. Use me as a reference anytime.. David Haight
Hey Carol...just wanted to let you know that we made it home safely Sat, and it was a pleasure
meeting you. Jack, AKA Blue Boy is doing great! He is really doing well with paper training.....must have
had a good teacher! I am wondering however about feeding him. I am recalling, and not necessarily correctly,
that we fed the Weties puppy 1/4 cup three times a day in the beginning. I went with that and he is barely taking 1/4
cup twice a day. (He nibble throughout the day.) Any thoughts? He slept a good stretch the first two nights
here...Sat night was 9:45 p.m. until 5:45 a.m. Last night was from about 9:00 - 4:45. I hope he will make it a
little later in the mornings. That being said he has stolen the hearts of all of us...not to mention the friends who
have come by to peek at the puppy....he is VERY sociable! Thanks again and if you could let me know about the food,
I would appreciate it! Peg
Carol, Our westie, Connor, is 9 months old now. He has been the best puppy we could hope for - well
trained and socialized with lots of personality. We are thinking about getting him a friend in a few months and
wanted to know what you think. If we were to try and add a Cairn to the family over the summer, Connor would
be about a year and a half old. Is this too late to add another dog to the household? Do these breeds tend
to get along well? What do you think about which sex we should look into? Thanks a lot. Brian and Elizabeth

Hi Carol, Thought that you might like to know how our puppy is doing. She slept the whole
way home on Saturday. We named her Lily. She seems to be responding to her name. She loves our other dog, Maggie. She gets
very excited when she sees her. Maggie is not so thrilled but is softening. I bought a couple of gates to keep Lily in the
kitchen. They are 30 inches high. She climbed over one this morning. I am sending a picture of Lily and Maggie. I never
realized how hard it was to take a picture of a puppy. I got several blurred ones and a couple from a very different angle
than when I clicked the camera. Thank you for everything. I think that Lily is going to fit into our family very well and
that Lily will enjoy being with us. Jane
Hi Carol, I just wanted to let you know that our puppy is doing really well!
We named him Tully and he is the best! Thanks so much! Jesseca
Hi Carol Just wanted to let you know that 'Brody' is settling
in just fine. You were right he has a great personality. He's already making friends around the neighborhood. It was so nice to see you in person. We will email a picture soon. We are so happy with him! Take Care and Happy
Thanksgiving!! Kerrie
Hi Carol, This is Amanda and Alex Swift we bought a puppy
from you back in September she was born on July 10th and she was pink girl. Sorry it has taken us so long to get back
to you to let you know how she is. We decided to name her Stella and she is now 19 weeks. Stella is the best dog
we could have asked for, she is so full of energy and keeps us on our toes constantly. We are in the midst of potty
training, we are attempting the bell method of potty training and it is working well. Stella is the cutest dog ever
and she attracts all kinds of attention she hasn't met a person she doesn't like and that doesn't like her back.
She is very aggressive with other dogs she is definitely the dominant dog in most situations even with dogs twice her size
(only playing of course), she has seemed to have met her match in our uncle's Shelty. She learns quickly and has
sit, lay down, and stay down pat; we are trying to teach her how to shake and roll over now but she doesn't really
like to roll over. We just wanted to let you know how greatfull we are to have found you and for Stella. There
are some recent pictures of Stella attached. Thank you, Amanda and Alex Swift
Well we made it home OK yesterday. We stopped at Pet's mart and had a
bunch of people stop us and ask where we found her and wanted your name and number so I gave it to them...hopefully you don't
mind! She cried and cried on the way there and when we got there I let her down and she peed and peed and peed.
So I was glad that she wanted to hold it rather than pee on me or in the crate. She rode great on the way home.
She fits right in. Our dog isn't quite sure what to think about her but seems to be accepting of her. She
loves our ferret and he loves her. Our cats are usually really nervous about new dogs, but they both came out of hiding
last night to watch her play and seemed pretty curious about her. We weren't sure what we were going to do with
her last night, but when she got tired she climbed right into her crate and fell asleep. So we left her there.
She got us up twice to go potty, which I was happy about instead of going potty in the crate. As of right now she has
only gone potty inside once. She seems to cry when she has to go to the bathroom unless she is outside already.
Now we just have to get her to know where the door is. My two year old is VERY attached to her and protective of her.
She climbed in the crate with her last night and announced that she was sleeping there with her puppy tonight. Well
I guess I have rambled on enough! Thanks for the great addition to our family and thank you for the time you spent with
her. It shows. My sister in law got a Cairn puppy about two months ago and she is still working on potty training
him and working out his bad habits of snarling and lunging when you get near him with food or toys. He throws a fit
in his crate and is just all in all a mess. He has come quite a ways, but still has a ways to go. Chloe seems
to be very well rounded and has adapted very well already. Did you make it home OK with your new batch of puppies?
I trust you had a safe trip! bsp; Thanks again! Sarah Benedict Update April 28th, 2008 I'm
not sure if you remember us, but thought I would give you an update on Chloe (born December 3rd 2007). She is doing
very well. She is so well mannered and fits in great with our family. My soon to be three year old thinks the
world of her and she is very good with my soon to be one year old also. She has attached herself to me pretty much but
thinks alot of my husband and kids too. She listens so well and I can't believe it but she is pretty much trained.
She is definitely a people pleaser. She is 100% potty trained and has been since she was 3 months old. We
still crate her when we are gone and at night, but she loves her crate and climbs in there on her own many times during the
day. She knows come, stay, sit, down, over, sit pretty, shake, far enough, bring it, and a bunch more. She walks
next to me without being on a leash if need be... we found this out when her collar turned up missing for a couple days! Thank
you so much for an awesome tempered puppy! It is so nice to be able to trust a puppy this much! Sarah Benedict Dear Carol, I just wanted to say, "THANK YOU" so much much for everything. My
new pupster, Colby Shadow Tibi, is an extreme delight! My family and I are so proud of how smart he is. We are
grateful to you for paper training him before we got him. My sister and I have started to train him with doing tricks
(sit, shake hands, and beg) and so far he's responding very well to our commands! How exciting!
We are also so happy that he loves to eat his Pro Plan puppy food - it's great to watch how he eats!
He seems to be responding well to city life here in NYC. My sister took him shopping at Bloomingdale's
and everyone ogled over Colby! Thank you again for your professionalism and expertise in caring new my
new cairn terrier. It has been great working with you. Please do keep in touch. I hope all is well
with you and the new litter that just arrived! Have a great week! Best regards, Leila

Hi Carol, I wanted to write and
give you an update on Logan. Every time we take him to the Vet he swoons over Logan. He says he is very happy & healthy
and that we obviously got him from a very good breeder. He has a very affectionate personality and he loves women's voices
(must be because you talked to the puppies so much when they were small.) He loves his brother Wesley ... although Wesley
didn't warm up to him immediately. They now get along well and Wesley continues to be amazed at how big & strong Logan
is getting. He went to the Vet on Saturday and he is already 15 pounds. The vet thinks he will be about 20 lbs, so he may
end up being bigger than his dad. Attached are a few photos of Logan .... thank you so much for such a wonderful puppy.
Thanks, "a satisfied customer from upstate NY".
UPDATE Logan is doing very well. He is very strong and healthy and loves to play soccer and baseball.
I think he was a baseball player in a previous life because he actually sits and watches baseball games and he loves running
the bases!! He is very smart and definitely has a Westie personality.
Carol: I wanted to send you a
quick Thank You note and an updated picture of our baby - we've named her Blitzkrieg on Osage with "Blitz" being
her every day name. The name suits her! She is adjusting well and we can't remember our lives without her!
I have to say that our vet was extremely impressed with Blitz and with you. He told us we had a wonderful breeder
who did everything right! We are so happy with Blitz that Todd & I have been discussing the
possibility of getting another Cairn from you. We figured once Blitz is approximately a year that that would be a good
time to get her a "sister". With that said, would you please keep us in mind when you have a litter due September
to December time frame? We would love another girl and for coloring we would love either black or a darker coloring. We
hope all is well. By the looks of your website you must have your hands full right now!All the Best - Mindy & Todd
Zyra
Just a note to say thanks for everything. out little westie is getting bigger everyday. We took
her to the vet last week for her shots and she weighs 5 1/2 lbs. She is crazy and full of energy but as cute as can be. Once
again thanks for everything I will keep you in mind if I hear of anyone looking for a healthy westie pup. Yvonne
Hi Carol! Just wanted to let you know that Isa is adjusting well to her new family. We
just love her to pieces. She is a really good puppy which is a credit to you. Thanks so much. The girls
picked out a green collar for her. I guess she'll always be our green string puppy. Hope everyone is doing
well at your house. Take care, Pam, Aaron, Monica, Kelly and Isa
